Gear Slot
In the beginning of the game, players will notice their gear slots rapidly fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until the old ones are cleared or a larger space is found. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for completing challenges. Since a lot of these challenges could be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to get the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.
Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.
Agents can pick up the passengers.
As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit into your weapon or gear slots, and retrieve them later.
These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk at the end of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that would otherwise trigger suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC includes new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions, simply contact the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker for your mission, identify a mob when you arrive.
